I knew it! You get to a certain age and you start sounding like your Dad. Its certainly the case when it comes to the build up to Christmas. I went shopping on Sunday-I hasten to add not for the beig event on the 25th December and couldn't believe what I experienced bearing in mind in was only the 27th November 2016-a whole month to go. I queued to get off the motorway and I drove around looking for a parking space for half an hour. The shops were packed with massive lines of people waiting to pay for their many purchases. Hundreds of little ones were waiting to see Mr White beard and every shop had dusted down their Christmas album and Slade, Wizzard and Shaking Stevens were making a few bob from their royalties. I can't be alone in thinking it really is a bit early to get that Christmas feeling! Ba hum bug! DP
